Turf conversion

Published SNWA base rate: $5 per square foot for the first 10,000 square feet and $2.50 thereafter for single-family residential conversions.

Local additions

SNWA currently links to an additional $2 per square foot for eligible LVVWD residential customers and a $575 additional Henderson incentive, subject to separate local terms.

Trees

SNWA currently publishes a $100 bonus per qualifying new tree; Henderson publishes an additional $50 per tree for eligible customers.

Leak sensors

Published home leak-sensor rebate is 50 percent of purchase price or $200, whichever is less.

Residential order of operations

  1. Review official conditions and apply.
  2. Wait for the required pre-conversion site visit and authorization.
  3. Plan plants, drip irrigation, surface materials, tree protection, and licensed work.
  4. Complete the project within the program window.
  5. Request post-conversion inspection and complete easement requirements.
